高梁川は自分にとって風景画としての挑戦を続けているテーマでもある。今回は色のな
い景色、ほぼ明暗のみでどこまで遠近感が出るのか、描いてみた。落ち着いた雰囲気を
醸したいい絵になったと自負している。M12という変わったサイズのキャンバスに書い
たが、風景を書くにはFよりもいいように思っている。実際のサイズよりも大きく見える
絵になったと思う。

I have a picture of a framed painting, but the sale is unframed.
Takahashi River is also a theme that I continue to challenge as a landscape
painting. This time, in order to express the scenery as if it has lost its color, I tried
to draw how far the perspective can be achieved with almost only the expression of
light and dark. I'm proud that it's a good painting that creates a calm atmosphere. I
drew on M12, which is an unusual size canvas, but I think it's better than F for
drawing landscapes. Standing in front of the painting makes it look larger than it
actually is.
